Programs

The emphasis of the organization’s programs and activities is placed on active participation in a supportive and encouraging, fun, safe and non-competitive environment. The goal is to provide all participants the opportunity for individual growth and development, and to foster self-confidence and self-esteem to help them achieve their personal best.

The continued growth of the Cape Cod Challenger Club is an indication of the community’s need for the services that it offers. What began as a small group of children playing baseball in Sandwich, MA has evolved into an organization that serves hundreds of children, young adults and adults from Plymouth to Chatham.

Some of the organization’s seasonal programs include basketball, martial arts and bowling in the winter; a spring baseball program; and a soccer program in the fall. Activities available on a year-round basis are art, music, fun fitness activities, and age-appropriate social clubs. In addition, the club hosts various parties, dances, and social events throughout the year.

These programs and activities are free of charge to all eligible participants, however, donations are accepted. There is no cost for our recreational, athletic and social activities. There are no registration or membership fees for any eligible participant. The organization is operated by volunteers and funded through charitable contributions, fundraising efforts and grants. One hundred percent of the money raised goes toward the operation of the organization’s programs.
